Post-Construction Cleaning of a Commercial Office Block, Upper Hill

A phased post-construction clean that took a newly fitted-out office block from dusty site to move-in ready.

A newly fitted-out office block needed to go from building site to move-in ready, with tenants waiting to take occupation.

Fit-out works had left fine plaster and cement dust on every surface, paint splashes on glazing and floors, adhesive residue and packaging waste throughout. The cleaning had to be thorough enough for occupation while contractors were still finishing snag items on some floors.

We walked the building with the facility team, agreed a floor-by-floor programme that worked around the remaining contractors, and set a clear standard for what "clean" meant at handover.

A dedicated cleaning crew worked through the building floor by floor, using methods and products suited to new finishes so that nothing was damaged in the process.

Each floor was signed off with the client's facility team against an agreed checklist before the next began, so tenants could start moving in on the cleared floors while work continued elsewhere.

Construction waste was separated and removed from site, and the building was handed over clean, ventilated and ready for occupation, with the option of continuing routine cleaning under a regular schedule.
